I'm finally back from OBS and i muz say it is indeed a life changing expierence. The trainers are the best trainers i've ever meet and the outdoor astomosphere only adds to the fun

Day 1
To my surprise the facilities turned out much more modernise that my wild imaginative thoughts. The prinicipal "back to basics" gave me an impression of the hell i would probably be going thru the coming week. So i headed towards pulau ubin expecting the worst. We did some of the usual ice breakers followed by learning several skills that we would be needing in the next few days at night we had a false fire alarm that seriously did not sound lyk a fire alarm and we got repremanded by the chieft camp officer for failing to bring the medical pouch.Had green bean soup for supper

Day 2
Woke up at 5.55am for flag raising. Canoe expidtion today. Perhaps one of the more fun events. Learnt several technique on how to steer the canoe in the right direction.Teamed up with susanna as they made it complusory for a guy to go with a girl. So we set off in our canoe to an offshore island called frog island or more commonly noe as "pulau ketam". The ride there was simply hell as susanna had developed blisters on her hands..thus i had to paddle almost the entire length. Upon reaching back to ubin we freshed ourselfs us and headed to the quaddrangle for some bonding games)skipping together synchronise numbering games and walking on planks off wood together) again. Finally it was time for supper and guessed wad. Red bean soup was serverd. I realise that bean soups are actually one of the easiest soups to prepare. You just simply boil it. Haha slp soudly thru the night...day 3,4 and 5 tmorrow
